The fourth in our NYC Brewery Series, this superbly balanced, partial-mash Pilsner comes from our generous friends at Threes Brewing.
At Threes they are always striving to make balanced brews that you'll want to revisit over and over again. Their Vliet (pronounced "vuh-leet") Pilsner is a superb example of the style - clean and slightly bready with just enough hop bite for balance. This is a great recipe for advanced brewers or anyone who wants to learn more about lagering and water chemistry. This is a cold fermented beer that depends on proper acidity levels in the mash to really shine. If you're ready to step up your brewing game, this is a fantastic place to start.
