New York State of Mind
Thanks to New York State's Farm Brewery Licensing we're starting to see a lot more domestic production of grains and hops. We are very excited to be able to carry a wider variety of truly local ingredients. We're expanding out from our malts and starting to include more locally produced hops. To celebrate, we've got a brand new pale ale that features all local ingredients - Ever Upward. We've also updated our most recent NYC Brewery Series entry - Freedom Within Form to include local hops (in addition to NYS Malts).

A Huge Thank You To Our Customers
On Saturday, June 19th 2021, Bitter & Esters will have been open for ten years! I have been thinking about how to describe this momentous occasion. Should I talk about all of the awesome people we’ve met? All the cool events we’ve hosted and attended? The brewery bike rides? The authors and brewery owners we’ve presented at the store?
