The seventh in our NYC Brewery Series comes from our generous friends at Big Alice Brewing Co.
BIG aLICe Brewing Co. opened in January 2013 and exclusively bottled flavor-forward, one-off batches, which they sold on-premises through their CSB membership program. Since then, they've opened a taproom onsite, expanded their brewing capacity, and even distribute throughout the five boroughs. They are committed to creative small-batches and will continue to brew beers that challenge and excite.
In that spirit of creativity, they've shared their Sweet Potato Farmhouse Ale with us. This beer is a food friendly, medium to full-bodied Belgian Farmhouse ale that has become a year-round favorite at their taproom. This is a dry beer with beautiful clarity and has prominent aromas of honey, clove and a peppery finish. The wheat, rye and sweet potatoes combine to make something truly unique, yet highly drinkable.
