The twentieth entry in our NYC Brewery Series hails from the yeast wranglers at Transmitter Brewing. Founded in 2014 and until recently operating out of a converted industrial space under the Pulaski bridge in Long Island City (with a recent move to the Brooklyn Navy Yard), they've been churning out fantastic French and Belgian inspired beers ever since.
They've offered up S4 - a classic saison that relies on French saison yeast to create an intoxicating mix of pepper and stone fruit aromas. Paired with a simple grain bill of Belgian pilsner and white wheat, this is a perfect beer for pairing with food.
