By putting a wort chiller into a brew kettle at the end of the boil and running cool water through the chiller, it is possible to cool the wort below 80 degrees in 12 to 15 minutes. This reduces the lag time between the boil and active yeast fermentation. Comes with tubing that has a garden hose attachment on it to easily allow you to hook up your chiller to an outdoor faucet. You can also use a faucet adapter or water bandit in conjunction with this unit to attach your wort chiller to an indoor faucet. The faucet adapter will not attach to a faucet that has a sprayer unit as part of it.
