Oak spirals allow for a shorter extraction time of aroma, flavor, and tannin due to their greater surface area. Add to barrels, tanks, or carboys; suggested dose is 2 spirals per 6 gallons for 7-14 days , but they can be snapped into smaller portions to adjust to taste.
