Neither fish nor fowl, an amber ale splits the difference between a Pale Ale and a Brown ale, with a warming malt base that’s paired with a noticeable hop presence. This recipe was written in honor of Dave, our longtime Brewshop 101 teacher, who is known to "love" the style.

Please note that kits do not include yeast. You can select both liquid or dry yeast from the dropdown menu. Dry yeast may be a better choice for summer months if you are shipping long distances.
All kits will ship with milled grains, unless requested otherwise. Please let us know in the notes section of your order if you would prefer your grains to be unmilled.
