Neither fish nor fowl, an amber ale splits the difference between a Pale Ale and a Brown ale, with a warming malt base that’s paired with a noticeable hop presence. This recipe was written in honor of Dave, our longtime Brewshop 101 teacher, who is known to "love" the style.
