You can select both liquid or dry yeast from the dropdown menu. Dry yeast may be a better choice for summer months if you are shipping long distances. We highly recommend an ice pack for all liquid yeast shipments.

All kits will ship with milled grains, unless requested otherwise. Please let us know in the notes section of your order (on the checkout page) if you would prefer your grains to be unmilled.

Czech Mate is a classic Czech-style Amber Lager, boasting notes of caramel and toffee. Refreshing and well-balanced, Vienna and Munich malts are balanced with traditional Saaz hops for a style that never seems to be out of fashion.

We've paired this recipe with NovaLager which is especially adept at preserving lager characteristics at warmer fermentation temperatures and shorter fermentation times.
