

The intensive germination and mild kilning will add a very strong malt aroma and a deep reddish color. The malt is rather low in diastatic power and should only be used up to 30%. Similar to melanoidin malt. Best used in styles where a strong malt flavor and aroma is desired: Trappist, Abbey, Amber Ales, Bocks.
