Bitter & Esters, New York City’s only homebrew supply store (recently voted by the American Homebrew Association as the best homebrew shop in America!) is looking for the right candidate who can help us provide the best customer service possible to the New York CIty homebrew community.
The perfect candidate will be punctual, have a positive attitude, a drive to help make delicious beer, and a passion for all things fermented. We’re looking to fill both part time and full time positions but an ability to work weekend and evening hours is a must.

Duties will include:
- Providing outstanding customer service and answering beer/fermentation related questions
- Operating a point-of-sale system (Lightspeed/Shopify)
- Unloading, organizing and stocking inventory
- Picking, sorting, and packing online orders
- Cleaning and general upkeep of retail location, brew on premises and class space
- Knowledge and experience in brewing beer
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Friendly & courteous
- In-depth brewing experience (all-grain/advanced brewer)
- In-depth kegging experience
- Retail experience
